My name is Evan Benz, I am a photographer, cinematographer, and a graduate of Full Sail University where I earned my Bachelor’s in Digital Cinematography. I’ve work as a Broadcast Engineer for Hulu, a Broadcast Associate and Video Editor at MLB Network and NHL Network, and as an Independent Contractor for RCN TV and Lafayette College. I have acquired a few accolades throughout my years in High School and beyond. In 2012, I achieved after many years in the Boy Scouts of America, the dignified rank of Eagle Scout. I have also in early 2014, became a Certified Pharmacy Technician for my time at Walgreens Pharmacy. In 2016, I became a certified FAA UAS (quadcopter/drone) Commercial Pilot. In 2019 I was awarded a Sports Emmy Award for my video editing work at MLB Network, we won for “Outstanding Studio Show - Daily.”
My interest in photography and cinematography truly first appeared as early as Junior High School where I would request to do video presentations instead of written projects for classes like history and reading. In high school I took multiple classes as electives specifically for video production including TV Pre-Production and Video Production.
